Clothing:
The Iroquois made their clothing from deer skin and other animal hides and furs. Clothing was used for protection and decoration. They decorated their clothes with porcupine quills, shells, beads, and feathers. In the summer, men and women wore loincloths and deerskin. In the winter, men wore leather leggings and tunics. Women wore long skirts and leggings. On their feet, they wore moccasins. They wore necklaces and bracelets made from shell beads. Hair styles were very important to the Iroquois culture. Women wore their hair in braids. Men wore their hair in many different ways.
Housing:
The Iroquois built different types of houses. One of these houses were called longhouses. A longhouse is one room that is very long and narrow. It was built by the Native American Indians and people that lived in Asia and Europe. Most cultures say that the longhouse is the first form of a structure that lasts a while. It could reach 100 meters, but were never much wider than 5 to 7 meters. The longhouse had doors on either end and were covered with animal skins to keep the cold air out during the winter. they were designed to hold a maximum of 20 families each.
Beliefs:
The Iroquois believed in the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit was said to have created everything, including them. They also believed in many other spirits created by the Great Spirit like the wind, sun, moon, and stars. The Iroquois thought that whatever they dreamed had to happen. For example, if they dreamed about being wounded, they would ask somebody to harmlessly cut them.
Food:

When they planted food they gathered soil, made mounds and used wooden spades as tools.In each mound they put at least ten seeds in them also the seeds in the mounds were keep warm all through out the winter by being packed in with dirt. Although the woman cooked the food and cleaned the men had lots of responsibilities too. Some of the men's responsibilities were planting the seeds
